I'm posting this for galadriel34 as she was having trouble with the poll.

Hi everyone! Time to launch our new calendar challenge. I’m a little bit late; unluckily reality intervened. Rules are akin to last year’s, I'll try to take the initial steps as soon as possible, or squeeze them in one or perhaps two posts, so that we’ll have time enough for the actual work.



Last year’s basic rules:
1. You need to be willing to create graphics for one or more months, for one or more fandoms.
2. Completed graphics must be the following resolutions: 1000x1600 pixels for portrait and 1600x1000 pixels for landscape.
3. Colors should be in 16 bit.
4. If at all possible, use HD images for the best results (greater than 1024x768 pixels).
5. You can use one character/actor or as many as you want from your chosen fandom/s.
6. The calendar pictures must be completed and submitted by the end of November (we'll cover how to do this closer to submission date).
7. I will collect the art and make as many calendars as necessary, or offer a selection of months in downloadable versions so members can print them at home if they wish. This will be completed by the end of December.

The challenge will run from 5 October to 30 November, so you have almost two months to make as many or as few months' graphics as you wish.

- tell us what fandoms you want to cover
- state how many months you want to contribute graphics for
- suggest theme/s for the months if you want (depending on your vote to the poll)

Once I have your response to this post, I'll check how many calendars we’re about to make based on genres. Depending on fandom interests, I may group creators and themes or simply go with combinations, but in either case, I again offer downloading of certain months. The final scenario of the challenge also depends on your votes, and my next post will elaborate further.

If I haven't covered everything or you need something clarified, don’t hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to answer or explain, after I've consulted with my helpers.

Last but not least, you can also post the graphics anywhere else; you’re not obliged to post in the comm - ask me or one of our fearless mods in terms of this - and please send me a link via email (galadriel34 @ gmail dot com) or LJ so that I can collect all the posts in one place.The poll will be closed on Sunday in order to post the fandom list (and the possible theme list) as soon as possible, then you can choose which one of them you’d like take as your own.

My Fandoms pretty much consist of Farscape, Doctor Who and CSI (until Grissom Leaves)
