Happy New Year! To celebrate, I'm flashing all the way back to last year's Big Break Screenplay Contest run by Final Draft. I've chosen 75 titles from the semi-finals in categories ranging from Action to Diversity to Half-Hour Sitcom Pilots with the hope that they will inspire you to create words or art in 2026.

How this works for the new folks- Pick a number or several numbers between 1 & 75 or ask for a random or three and I'll provide a prompt. Write 200 words or make some art involving said prompt by the time the next Weekend Challenge is up and I'll reward you with either a drabble or words to my WIP.

Have fun and happy writing!

I'm not sure who is going to start the new year for us, but I'm sending creative vibes your way.

I spent the day updating my journals, word counts, creating new banners for upcoming projects and reading/living on the Heated Rivalry subreddit as I'm utterly obsessed with the TV series and the books.

Thank you for making this year yet another one where I have managed to be creative - this community is so precious to me and I don't have the words to show my appreciation. Happy New Year to each and every one of you and looking forward to more millions in 2026!

I overscheduled myself for today, so you get the Calendar now rather than super early on January 1.

Here's the calendar for the January Daily Count Challenge. Please review the list and let me know if something doesn't work for you. Thank you!

Here's how the Daily Count Challenge works: every Wednesday night, we'll post a reminder for the upcoming week. If a participant forgets to post their daily writing, the next person in line will be notified and can post once they have finished their own. This ensures the challenge continues to move forward smoothly.

Example: On 05 January, [livejournal.com profile] simplyn2deep hasn't posted that they've completed their daily writing. On 06 January, [livejournal.com profile] agdhani can post to confirm they've completed their writing to keep things moving.

I think I've covered everything, but if not, please let me know.
