Okay, it's totally my fault... although I am going to kick Yahoo's ass because all my calendar reminders have failed lately and I managed to completely forget that there should have been any... so there was not only no comment fic prompt up for Friday, but I also missed reminding the weekend challenge host that it was her turn. *headdesk*
Sorry, everyone, especially if you were expecting that there would be more entries and prompts for you to play with.
To make up for it, here is the
FAIL AT CHALLENGES CHALLENGE!
To play, all you need to do is create a drabble/comment fic/icon/set of icons/small banner related to one of the prompts below. Any fandom, any genre, any style. Prompts can be used any number of times, and use them as loosely as you wish.
Post your entry in a comment in this post with a note of a few fandoms/pairings/genres of your choice that you can be rewarded with.
For the rewards, the next person who comes along to play should reward the first entry by claiming their comment (with a comment to say 'claimed'), and then creating a drabble/comment fic/icon/set of icons/small banner related to one of the prompts below or something from the original challenger's entry. Come back and edit your 'claimed' comment to add the reward or just add a new comment to the original creator's one. Don't forget to add a note of a few fandoms/pairings/genres of your choice for your rewarder to use, as well!
Rewards should be continuous, as the next person rewards the rewarder and so on, making a chain of ficlets/pics... although if the challenger's fandoms are not ones you create in or there's nothing to claim yet, then by all means post your own entry to start a new chain, and someone who does create in the previous chain's fandom can take that one on.
If by Monday night my time (EST midnight-ish Sunday), entries have not all been rewarded, or any chain has ended, I will reward the last person unrewarded in that chain.
Does that all make sense? Comment with questions if not! ;-)
The prompts are:
1. Last minute change of plans
2. Fifteen minutes to spare
3. Cocktails
4. Road Trip
5. Time to think
6. The cheque's in the mail
7. Trust me
8. Flying monkeys
9. Famous last words
10. Lost & found
...and go ahead - create! ;-) HAVE FUN!

DONE!
Date: 2014-07-27 03:11 am (UTC)“And then the blue wire.”
“Okay.”
“Just cut it.”
“Okay, done.”
“Alright then.”
“Now what?”
“We’re done.”
“We’re done?”
“Done. I’m showing no active signal here, so… we’re done.”
“That’s it?”
“Yes, that’s it.”
“We can’t be done, Benji. We’ve still got… fifteen minutes. We can’t be done.”
“And yet we are. There is no active signal, the power is down. It will take them at least twenty-two minutes to reboot. By then they’ll be out of time. We’re very securely done.”
“Very securely?”
“Very, Agent Brant. We are done.”
“That never happens. When does that ever happen?”
“And yet it has.”
“We never have fifteen minutes to spare.”
“We do now.”
“So what are we supposed to do?”
“What do you mean?”
“With the fifteen minutes, what are we supposed to do?”
“Well, I don’t know… that never happens.“
Re: DONE!
Date: 2014-07-28 10:19 am (UTC)LOVE your entry, darlink, and have much more understanding of the characters having just sort-of watched the movie last night! ;-)
Now, you did not obey instructions, so tell me now, what fandom and pairing would you like for your reward?
Re: DONE!
Date: 2014-07-28 12:46 pm (UTC)Did you enjoy the movie?
Easy (150 words) - H50, Steve/Danny cargument - PG-13
Date: 2014-08-03 11:15 am (UTC)"You are never easy."
"Who says?"
"Apart from almost everyone?"
"Who's 'almost everyone'?"
"Almost everyone. Anyone who's ever had intercourse with you."
"Excuse me? Intercourse?"
"You do realize that intercourse doesn't have to be sexual, don't you?"
"Of course I do! I'm not that stupid."
"Really?"
"Yeah, really."
"Well, you could have fooled me."
"You're not hard to fool."
"Ha ha. Anyway, I would have accepted your answer without question if we'd been talking about sexual intercourse."
"What?"
"You've already forgotten your answer to the question, haven't you?"
"I haven't forgotten; I just didn't realize my sexual morals were going to be in question!"
"Babe, almost everything you do should be in question."
"Has it ever occurred to you that if you didn't turn every decision we have to make into an argument, we might actually be eating by now?"
"Kamekona's then?"
"Kamekona's."
"You sure?"
"I'll drive."

(and in all honesty, I was busy doing something online at the time so I kinda didn't really pay full attention to the movie... I shall watch it again properly one day!!!)
