Hi original fic writers! Remember this post from last month? Yep, it's time to wind up the challenge fic from last month (or if it's an ongoing fic, decide what excerpt you're going to share), and show us what you got!



If you're like I usually am, you may not be finished yet, but hopefully you're well on the way to meeting the goal you set for yourself. I'm leaving things open for you to link or post in a comment to this entry before the end of June - by all means post in your own journal or wherever else you normally post your original stories (if you do); just link us back there! If you don't usually post or haven't yet, feel free to post in the comm and link to this entry.

I managed to exceed my goal for a total on new work and old of 4783 words! Thank you!

For the opening bit of my novel:
Title: Billie Mae
Genre: paranormal murder mystery
Excerpt Length:1260 words (total length- 98,000 words)
and
a middle bit of my new novella:
Title: The Bear
Genre: literature
Excerpt Length: 370 words (total length- ???)

I'm so glad you were inspired! I very much enjoyed your excerpts! I'm only sorry it took me so long to get to reading them.
