Long Challenges Schedule 2024!

Finally, I have got the schedule together for the Long Challenges for 2024!

skargasm has done a wonderful job with our first one, Crossovers, which is due to end this week, and I am getting on board with the next one, due to start on Friday, which will be Original fic! Amy, I hope I can count on you to be there if I'm a bit slow with comments! I know this one's in your wheelhouse! I will spend the next wee while sorting out how that's going to run, and the first post will go up on the 1st March!



All of our lovely volunteers (who have generously given their time, thank you!) are listed below against the period I hope will work for them, and with challenges I also hope suit them! Please let me know in a comment if you can't do the dates I've given you, or if you don't think the challenge I've assigned you is going to work for you, and I'll try to swap things as needed. If everything's good, please let me know with a thumbs up!

And I should also mention that Diva is the only one who I have assigned two challenges to, so I hope this works for you - please do not hesitate to let me know if it doesn't suit you, and I'll see who else can take one of them, as I know neither of the chalenges are regulars on our schedule, so they might need a bit of prep.

For this reason, I've assigned helpers for both of these. Bingo can also need additional help sometimes, but I think (let me know if I'm wrong) WIP Push and Drabble/Icon challenges are probably straight-forward enough without help. If anyone's desperate to help with any of the N/A ones, let us know here too!

If you think you're good to go without help for your challenge, by all means do, but if you want a hand, please go to the person I've named as your first port of call, or just give me a yell! I'm always floating about somewhere and happy to help if you need something I can do. ;-)

You are free to run the challenges you have been assigned as you see fit, but check out the tags for those challenges if you need an idea of how they were previously done.

You know I'll help out with the comments! Was even going to offer up my help for the next challenge in whatever way you might need. Although, I will be out of town(!) and eventually out of the country(!!!) from 4/5 - 4/11. You might have even already known that. 🤣

So excited to see some of the older challenges come back, too. Especially the songfic challenge.
