Let me know if there are any issues with the poll.
Please let me know in comments what your favourite challenges are; which ones you might help with; like to see more/less of; ALL THE THINGS! Also, feel free to ask questions or suggest new challenges. WE NEED TO KNOW!!!
PS: RIP Steven Hillenberg (creator of Spongebob). Much sadness at our house.
ALSO: REMINDER!!! I'll be counting at the weekend, so GET THOSE NUMBERS UPDATED!!!

Date: 2018-11-27 10:19 pm (UTC)I love all the challenges, I'm such a dork. Hah. And you know I'm here for whatever you might need.

Date: 2018-11-27 11:42 pm (UTC)I don't know how December is shaping up but back in 2015 we had a Year End Challenge (https://1-million-words.livejournal.com/1488664.html) that I thought was kind of fun.

Date: 2018-11-28 12:02 am (UTC)K has set up a 100-in-100 for the last 100 hours of the year which is similar to that year end one, except it doesn't have a prompt. She's already scheduled the entries, so I think we'll just go with that, but if you want to throw in a prompt on those entries as they post, feel free! Same goes for anyone else who wants to join in!

Date: 2018-11-29 08:29 pm (UTC)My favorite challenges when I was here were the daily count challenge and the ones like 100 in 100 or whatever it was. Things that helped keep me motivated to write regularly and push through any blocks or laziness.
I would be willing to help with something like the 100 in 100 challenge if you wanted to bring it back.

Date: 2018-11-29 08:40 pm (UTC)The daily count challenge continues, so you can certainly join in with that!
Thank you! We may take you up on that! Keep following; we'll make sure you're included nonetheless!

Date: 2018-11-29 08:38 pm (UTC)Before I even knew of this group I've dabbled in some exact 100 words photoprompts on Goodreads with the M/M Group Flash Fiction but that was in 2014. Think I've joined you guys around September/October this year, so I've kept up with some entries.
I have also been jobless since May 31st this year, and may or may not get a new job but still not 100% sure if I will get it...
Haven't really *really* actively taken a challenge word and thought 'what can I create in 100 words?' but I will definitely try to do it more often and not be afraid of posting it here.
I do have my fanfics but mostly only 2 dear friends of mine read and comment on it, so I wouldn't call myself a great writer who gets lots of comments.

Date: 2018-11-29 08:46 pm (UTC)If you've dabbled and you want more practice, this is the perfect place - it's a small community, but a very passionate one in terms of creating!
Sorry to hear you've been out of work, and I wish you all the best for getting that job *crosses fingers*
Don't be afraid - we all have to start somewhere, and we don't mind if you're not perfect; who is? HA! We're happy to provide friendly and constructive concrit if you want, help with ideas, or just leave you to do your thang; how involved you are and/or want us to be is totally up to you! ;-)

Date: 2018-11-30 12:05 am (UTC)I might not be that super interested in participating in challenges etc yet (because I have so many unfinished but posted WIP's) but I do want to try and be more active in the communities I enjoyed being in, this one being one of them :)

Date: 2018-11-30 12:36 am (UTC)No problem; you know we are about doing as much or as little as you want, so welcome back, and only do what you're ready for! We'll be here! ;-)

Date: 2018-11-30 02:15 am (UTC)Since the end of August this year has been busy and stressful, with emotions up and down. We had a death in the family, found out my father in law is cancer free... and too many others to name.
Not to mention the bang and challenge I run. Thankfully one is finished and the other will be done in one more day!
I haven't had time to check through LJ since August Rush. I missed the Swap of Joy because I forgot all about checking the comm. :(
Right now I'm all caught up on all of my orders for my Etsy business so I checked and the Advent is running! So I snagged 3 shows/dates. I hope that was okay.
If you need help I can. As long as I can schedule the post I'm available. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and early Thursday are the best days for me.

Date: 2018-11-30 02:24 am (UTC)I'm sorry you missed things you may have liked to do, but rest assured we'll be here next year for you to join in as and when you can!
YAY for joining in on Advent - I'm glad you found some days and fandoms! I;ll go there next to update things!
Thank you - will definitely keep you in the loop so you can offer up any help you can offer with next year's challenges etc! ;-)

Date: 2018-11-30 05:24 am (UTC)Absolutely no problem! You are welcome to continue lurking, or if you feel so inclined, join in the fun! No pressure at all!
And thank you for your kind words! We love having everyone here and it's so nice to be free of drama at least one place in your life, right?

Date: 2018-11-30 05:26 am (UTC)I'm glad to here that all that groundwork paid off, and while adjusting to the change may be challenging, it looks like it's been worth it!
I hope you do have time for us again; we're happy to have you on board! Will keep you in the loop for next year!
