Okay, I had intended to get this done last night and then got home and... didn't. But that's not the point!
Today's conversation post is about the life - and wildlife - of the Star Wars universe! Everyone I hear, these days, is always talking about how amazing the universe is that James Cameron built for Avatar, and how nothing had ever been done like that before.

Just in Star Wars (Episode IV, if you're technical), we have the following races ON SCREEN: (and most of them are in the Cantina scene...)
Abyssin
Advoszec
Anzat
Aqualish
Arcona
Bith
Brizzit
Chadra-Fan
Defel
Devaronian
Duros
Droids [Okay, I added this in. They are a species, after all]
Givin
Gotal
H'nemthe
Human [Han Solo, Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, etc]
Ithorian
Jawa
Kubaz
Lamproid
Lutrillian
Mantellian Savrip (Appears in hologram)

And that doesn't even include the womp rats, bullseyed for target practice!
For a full list (at mostly present) of the species in the Star Wars universe - Expanded, included - check THIS LINK. <-- Never doubt the fans and their over-attention to details ;-)
So.. do YOU have a favorite Star Wars species? How about a character?
