Monday - it actually is Monday!

So, since I did the count and put that up, I am getting in now before I forget it's my turn! It may not be Monday yet for you, but you'll get there. I am fully immersed in Monday and all the joy (NOT) that it brings! I have absolutely no plans to add to my words this week, because I am just not currently capable, but I do have great plans to finish the birthday card for my 2nd daughter (N2D) that I just need to put an inner into and then post, as she turns (OMG!) 27 next week. Where the F did THOSE years go? The other thing I am working on this week that's creative is my temp blanket - I put it down a few months back so I could finish a vest I was knitting for my grandson (that is now done and with him, so WOOT!), so I have once again picked up the crochet blanket. I was midway thru May, so I have a way to go to catch up on that, so my aim is to finish May by the end of this week... let's see how that goes.

I have finished my 100 pumpkins! Stitched faces on the final 5 yesterday, but I haven't taken photos yet.

I love that vest! Be he'll be handsome as ever in it! Ugh, I feel you. Mine will be 26 and 24 at the beginning of next year.

As for me, I got some words last week and even managed to post something. Score! And on non-creative ends, I got back on my bike this morning after way too long away. My hip joint hurts now, but I did it. LOL

Going to try and get another prompt for colors done and OOOH - songfic! Yay!

Er, rereading this, maybe I ought to lay off the caffeine for a bit.

Thank you! I'm hoping he likes it (and it fits!), not that 2 year olds usually care about clothing that much! LOL! Oh, I know - the years keep slipping away on us! When I started out here on LJ, my son was only a little older than my grandson is now!

Oh, Taylor cared, but she's one of the few. Don't I know it. My friend and I were talking the other day and when she and I met, my younger kid wasn't even in school yet. And now she's 23! It's crazy.

I finished my last blanket and ornaments. I am proofreading while waiting for Novembers writing flurry to begin and will go back to prep work for the last weekend/week of the month.
And I am waiting to have running water again...which has to wait for the pouring rain to stop...so lots of fun here.

Nice job on the vest! I'll bet he looks super cute in it.

I was in NYC last week and just about wiped myself out running all over town. It was exhausting but also wonderful.

Now.. time for fall and hobbies. Knitting, words, and water color are on the list. Woot!
