Beating the Weasels

The day started out with visiting one of the libraries in town that I've never been to. (We have four branches of our library in town... I've now been to three of them. I have an open invite to the fourth, but I haven't managed to get there.) We went for a talk on Ma Rainey (the blues singer) and then visited her house. I had known that she lived in my town, but I didn't realize she was born and raised here. It was pretty neat and now I want to listen to her music. I'm sure I've heard some, but not known for sure. I'm also planning to watch Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.

I didn't get much done on my to do list chore wise, but I managed to make the dinner I planned. And I got 668 words on various things. I got some more plotting done on the novel I'm hoping to rewrite, wrote a note to my cover artist (who got back to me already with prices), and poked at a comment fic.

I have a list of what I'd like to accomplish writing wise this month and I think I did pretty well... I finished 4 out of 8 goals. And I'm hoping to work on another one tomorrow.
