Good morning!

How’s the year going for you so far?  A little rough for me personally, with a sick cat, but he seems to be on the mend, so that’s a bonus.  Also, it’s going to be nearly 80 degrees here today, which is wild, even for the desert.

3. Big Buddy is at 7%.  Are you on track?  I managed nearly 450 words yesterday which surprised me.  So, I’m close for the first time this year.

5. Our current long challenge, running through the end of the month, is WIP push!  So, dust off those unfinished projects and let’s get some thing done!

My plans:
Another 1500 in drabbles, finishing out the alphabet.
5 Rows each weekday on my 2023 temp blanket and 10 rows on each weekend day, which will have me done by the end of next week.

This will finish off my WIPs and leave me to start a new project at a more leisurely pace with just the idea of knitting something every day (although I can't buy more yarn until I finish the sweater I have planned next as I have promised myself "finish 2 buy for 1" and there is yarn in a box waiting for me to open). And get started on the next drabble character study which I also want to take slower at 100/day instead of 300.

Those are my plans! I am excited!

Hoping kitty gets better!
I'm a bit ahead of the curve right now. Was on a roll this morning and regret that now I must work. The action's building up toward the big stuff, so its getting easier.
I have a big grant to work on this week; it should only take me a day or two if I'm not interrupted...but I know I will be so expect it will take me most of the week. Maybe my brain will be up to some words in the evenings, but I'm not holding my breath for that.

Thank you! He had a UTI, which can be really bad for boy cats. Vet was happy, but we're waiting on the bloodwork to be sure.

Hah, I'd have all my work done in two days if these guys left me alone, but that'll never happen. Hope you can get the grant written with few interruptions.

I hope your kitty gets feeling better mine was under the weather then she was bouncing around off the walls chasing her favourite ball.

I survive the winter storm so yay! Now I just have to get through the cold weather till Thursday which I do not like so my week is writing, reading fanfics,books and watching things I have been putting off watching.

I am actually keeping up on my big buddy word count now if only I could focus on the projects I need to finish soon that would be wonderful but my muse has other ideas.

I have been working on my wips when my muse wishes to give me ideas for them.

Thank you, he's much better now. One of his sisters was acting like she was sick, too, but after a vet visit, she was like, "Haha, just kidding". UGH. But, better safe than sorry. I'm glad yours is doing better, too.

That sounds like a fantastic way of combating the cold.

Fantastic on the word count. Hoping you can redirect your muse and work on the things you need to get done.

So stressful when the fur bears are sick. :\ I hope they are both feeling better and back to simply being little goofballs again soon.

Tell 'em they have one job! Lol.

Thank you! Heard from the vet this morning and Gideon's bloodwork is back to normal. Violet's has a couple of small issues, but she thinks the food change will fix them. She was happy with both sets of results!

Hah, they've got the looking cute to get treats down, I think they need a raise. :D
