Well hello there! Welcome to Monday.

Today, LJ tells me, is my 19th anniversary on LJ. As you may or may not know, it was Fanfic that brought me here. So 19 years of fanfic, that is something. Not that I was writing it, but I could not get enough of LotR RPS, and I found a home here. And now, the home has evolved, and I've really found my peeps. THANK YOU MY PEEPS! I really do love everyone here! You are awesome!! Another 19 years?

Wow, 19 years! That's almost as old as my younger child. LOL

My word count is a sad state of affairs right now. I've got um... 785 words so far? BUT if I can manage to get Chase to dinner, that might change awfully fast.

The prompts have been fantastic! Lots of great songs in all different genres.

I probably ought to get back to work, too. *sigh*

I've got approximately 9k to meet the months goal and 4 chapters left to write and this draft will be done.
I'm leaving town in a few hours for a 2 day conference, but I'm hoping that the lack of evening distractions will mean that I can push through more words...and that I can get this beast finished by the end of next weekend.
Then the first weekend of june can involve the outside stuff around the house (and some inside too) that I've been putting off in favor of words.
Hoping the long drive will give me time to plot the next bit out so I can write it this evening.
In the meantime, I need breakfast and to wrap up some stuff here before I head out.

My 19th is coming up at the end of the month. I always forget how closely we joined this incredible place! And for similar reasons, of course. Which means that we have been friends now for 19 years (well, the actual anniversary is later this year, but is it wrong to say close enough?!), which is both hard to believe and fantastic! Love you, my amazing slash twin! ❤️🎉🎵
