Dang, it is Monday again already?  Whelp, here we are.  And summer has arrived in the desert.  By this time next week, it’ll be in the 90’s here.  I hope that the weather is nice wherever you are and whatever season you might be staring down.

Last week, I took my first real vacation in longer than I care to admit.  I have to say, I get it now.  Hahaha.  But I’m home again, the cats are happy, and the kids are as they always are.

One last note.  April is Donate Life month.  Five years ago today, my late husband had a kidney transplant thanks to a generous donation from his mother.  If you can, and if you are able, please register as an organ donor (US link).  You never know whose life you might save.

I'm past the midway point (at 32k+ this morning) I'm climbing towards the story's climax and the end of the book, so the words are coming a little easier...only the last battle scene(s) are likely to bog me down because they're hardest for me to write.
Boss will be in today, but then out for the rest of the week, so I'm hoping I can push through a lot more words to get this draft finished (or nearly so) by the end of the month.
