So, the desert is bringing the weather vibes for Halloween tomorrow.  Went from being warm to pleasantly cool to WOAH, I need a jacket. Haha.  Hope that wherever you are, your weather is treating you well.

As you have probably guessed by now, I forgot that it was my turn this week and we are therefore behind schedule.  One of these days, my memory will hold and I won't forget.

Anyway, one more day left in the month, how are you doing?  If you're looking for some quick words to add to your count, check the tags in the sidebar to take you to all sorts of amazing prompts.

Also, the current long challenge is 5+1!  It's always a popular one and there are a ton (and I mean a ton) of amazing prompts in the challenge tag.

I think that's about it.  Not much worth discussing going on in my life.  However, I am looking forward to some live hockey this week.

Chime in and let us know how you're doing!  Don't forget to update your numbers as well.

passed the word count...14 more chapter outlines to tinker with...but I think I can do that tonight and tomorrow morning. I'm way past the point of being ready for NaNo :)

My migraine has finally gone away allowing me to write and catch up so I reached my goal for the month and now I am getting ready for NaNo I am just putting the finishing touches on my outline and playlists.

We had another snowfall the other day and it is supposed to get a little warmer these coming days which is good for Halloween.

May I ask what is 'chilly' for you? Asking for a friend. :) We hit 38F overnight, and my green bean plants I put in late this summer are probably toast. :\. They flowered and gave me a handful of tiny beans but it's amazing how the growth slows once it gets cooler. I have clear covers over my mustard greens and kale, and am hoping they can continue to grow.

Work has been a lot (it's elections and nyc marathon season, and a few projects fell out of the sky at the same time). My sister had surgery today, happily it went well. My mom needed help with fall/winter house preps. We had a party for my sis-in-law's 35th on Sunday. All that is this week...we will see what next holds, lol.

I will definitely get back to holiday knitting and holiday cards once the big work projects are done. Words? Swap of Joy is a definite, and I'll hope for some more beyond that.
