So there I was, all set to write after dinner, a nice little ficlet idea all nailed down and ready to go--and in the process of reaching for a spoon so I could eat some ice cream, I stuck my hand directly into the middle of the steam coming off our electric kettle (which I didn't realize was on). Cue me spending the rest of the evening keeping one hand carefully in an ice bath.

So, some nice 2nd-degree burns and 0 words later, I am passing the torch along to shanachie_quill, and wishing you better health & safety! :P

OOOOOOOOOOOOUCH! Our rice cooker sits right below one of our cabinets and I do this to myself way too often. Hoping you aren't hurting too badly today!
