Family

Two happily skipped down the sidewalk with Nine following at a more stately pace with a small smile on his face. He loved watching his daughter play.

It has only been the two of them for the last nine years. The irony of their circumstances reflecting them was... sad? Karmic? Poetic? Whatever, it is what it is.

At least they had each other and she brought vitality, smiles and life back into their tiny family. Well, he was sure that they would be happy as long as they had each other and woe to the man or woman who ever came between the two of them.
