Well, I spent half the night up being sick, but still managed to get words in (despite a nap and a visit to Urgent Care and still not feeling well). Didn't really focus on anything, but finished a friend's birthday gift (which I started last year and ended up being 12 chapters), finished my grant proposal for college, did a version of the rare pair challenge, and also put a few hundred words on my current anthology story.
All told 1633 words for the day which brings me up to 9546 for the month.
Over to
simplyn2deep for words tomorrow.

Date: 2021-09-20 10:58 pm (UTC)Pretty much gone but no one had any idea what it was.
I'd like to just not... but if I didn't, I'd never get anything done. It'll be better in the new year with just one job. Or just one steady job.

Date: 2021-09-21 07:36 pm (UTC)That sucks, but as long as it's mostly gone, it's a good thing.
One steady job would be best. I remember when Troy worked two jobs when the girls were little, it seriously wore on him.

Date: 2021-10-30 03:12 am (UTC)I have a couple of light scars still, but that's it. I actually saw the urgent care doctor who sent me to the dermatologist when I was sick this past week. She was floored that NO ONE figured out what is was.
Yeah. My last day for my part time job is tentatively December 17. I said I'd work a couple weeks in January if he still hadn't found someone, but I don't want to drag it out.

Date: 2021-11-01 08:15 pm (UTC)It is kind of shocking sometimes that with all their training they can't figure something out. Maddie had a reaction to something when she was a few months old and the doctor couldn't figure it out either. Said it looked like a reaction to a sulfate drug - which they don't even use any longer. She was fine, but I still think about it 19 years later.
That's good! Here's to hoping they don't need you to work after that.

Date: 2021-12-21 10:35 pm (UTC)Well. In his defense... his mother was very sick and passed away. But yeah. I'll go in one day a week until he finds someone.

Date: 2022-01-04 04:59 pm (UTC)I agree. You need some downtime otherwise you'll burn yourself out.
