Title: Hey, Cutie Author: jdl71 Characters: Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester Fandom: Supernatural Word Count: 271 Summary: Someone thinks Sam is cute.
“You’re cute,” the waitress, Candi, breathed out as she poured Sam’s coffee.
“Exc . . . excuse me?” Sam stammered as he straightened up in the chair he was sitting in.
Sliding the cup over to Sam, Candi smiled and then leaned in closer to offer him a view of her cleavage. “I said, you’re cute.”
“Um, thank you,” Sam responded, not knowing what else to say. He pulled the warm coffee into his hands and leaned as far back as the chair would allow him without toppling over. His eyes searched the diner, looking for Dean, only to realize that he was nowhere to be found.
Twirling a stray lock of hair around her finger, Candi seemed to smile wider. “So, you can see what my name is,” she stated as she tapped her name tag with her free hand. “What’s yours, cutie?”
“Taken, his name is taken,” Dean growled out as he slid into the empty seat across from Sam, smiling sweetly at him and the waitress.
“Oh, um sorry,” Candi mumbled as she backed away and disappeared into the kitchen.
“What was that about?” Dean questioned as his eyes ticked from the retreating waitress back to Sam.
“She um, she thought I was cute,” Sam explained and then blushed at his admission.
Dean gave a soft chuckle, “Well you are kind of cute, but not as cute as me.”
“Shut up,” Sam shot back as he raised his cup to his lips. He felt his blush deepening as Dean winked at him. He knew his older brother wasn’t going to let him live this down and he groaned at that thought.
