Word Wars

I'm playing catch up with my goal this month, so if anyone is facing the same or just wants to get some extra words in by the end of the month, I'll be running word wars today from 2-4pm CDT. Come in for a round or stay for the whole session, let's make some words.

Schedule:
2:00 - 2:25 Round One
2:30 - 2:55 Round Two
3:05 - 3:30 Round Three
3:35 - 4:00 Round Four

Well, we call it wars- but here it's mostly just some added motivation to write. We open up a WIP or new story and see how much progress we can make in a couple of hours- and report in every 25 min or so on what we accomplished!

Nice! I'm getting a head start on a July Nano project- see if I can get one on a roll this Nano around. I might aim for some drabbles this weekend, though- good for pacing, and nice to get something *done* for once.

Almost a tie! 285 for me- switched to another fic, and took some time to get back on a roll. Happy for any progress, though!

For me, 1,682 for the four rounds! Thanks for the word wars- really don't know that I'd have written half that today w/o them, and I have a chapter on a WIP almost done. :)

I always seem to be more productive during word wars than other times. I think the added layer of accountability helps. Thanks for joining in!
