...but my daughter's ongoing situation keeps me scattered and off balance too much of the time right now.

Still, I managed to get 3819 words in yesterday...sitting about 3 days ahead on count...so it was a good day.

Hopefully your daughter's situation either straightens out or calms down soon. But nearly 4k words in a night is excellent work!

For her sake (and mine) I hope it does too...but sadly its gonna take awhile to sort out and for her to move past it I think.
Sometimes editing and writing is the only recourse to unwind.

Poor kid. I hope that it all works out for her in the end though. It's tough to watch our kids struggle.
