this is my first effort at publishing ever...been sitting on/tinkering with this book forever and have finally stopped making excuses.

originally wanted to go the traditional route, but so many places don't accept works of this length as first efforts, so I'm going with publishing it myself. there's 6 parts in the series so far, and other sideworks I can put out there, so its all a matter of what I can afford.

we'll see how it goes.

I'm actually still terrified over it...even though its done now.
It's like...well, I can't waste the money so now I HAVE to use them...

I get that, the scary and the pressure to justify, but I'm still very excited for you. Having worked in a bookstore for a while, ISBNs just feel very real and ... WONDERFUL!
