I hope everyone had a good weekend and welcome to another Monday.

August Rush is underway, so yay for that!

Tomorrow, I'll do a round up for the Pool Party, and I want to thank everyone who played. You made it a success once again.

I survived back-to-school shopping with two teenage girls so, I'm calling the weekend a win. :D Plus, I finished one of my review books, which is always a plus.

YAY! I'm hoping to bump my count a lot over the next few weeks. *crosses fingers* I'm familiar with at least two of the fandoms this go-round so that helps.

Congrats to everyone who participated in the pool party! Looks like you had an excellent turnout as well.

This week I want to make some icons and finish the weekend challenge I didn't get done on Sunday. I also need to go through my WIP folders and see what's done and what's still lingering and maybe I can figure out what to work on next. And... I have two library books to finish so there's that, too.

Congrats on surviving the back to school shopping. That was something I always dreaded, especially when I went with my dad. He's not a big shopper, so can you say fun....

Thanks! My younger daughter is easy, but the other one? UGH. Man, that had to have been hard. My dad wouldn't have set foot in a clothing store, despite the fact he worked for J. C. Penney, to save his life.

Yes! I'm hoping to write some fic for SPN and icons for the rest. I have to be really motivated to write in a fandom and most don't do that for me. But... since I've finally convinced my husband to start catching up on this most recent season of SPN, I've kinda got the boys on my brain.

Thanks! Yes - one is Sharpe's Tiger, and I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm beginning to see what you meant about Hakeswill. Talk about a jerk! But the other is called The Breakdown by B. A. Paris. I read one of her books last year and it was pretty good. My library hold list is nearly as long as my Netflix queue these days. *sigh*

Not sure I'm going to bet anything productive done today...our webhost is down so I'm trying to figure out how to get our website up and running again at the office...on top of everything else the boss wants.

Tiny bit behind on the words...maybe more if today isn't productive...but...grrrr

Pool Party went well! August Rush is shaping up well so far!

Personally, I'm not creating much, but I hope to get some icons done for the Rush! At home, we are STILL waiting for our living room furniture that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday, and then Monday, but they have PROMISED today (Tues in these parts) so it better turn up. I am so OVER waiting around for it. Plus, we have had one armschair in the living area for the last month, and that is getting very old.

As for the rest, there is still other sorting out to be done at home, so I'm steadily working my way through that, and there is knitting to be getting on with!
