Here's the rules:
1) 100 words or 1 graphic for each letter of the alphabet.

It's that easy.
And perk – It’s the alphabet you know what’s coming if you want to get ahead of it. There is no need for your work to all connect. There is no need for them to be in order.

Like the Numbers challenge, if you are stuck or would like a random word to use, poke me and I will provide.

Now everyone give me a

SYNONYM STUDY FOR IMPECUNIOUS
See poor.

ORIGIN: First recorded in 1590–1600; im- + obsolete pecunious “wealthy,” from Latin pecūniōsus, equivalent to pecūni(a) “wealth” + -ōsus-ous

HOW TO USE IMPECUNIOUS IN A SENTENCE
It's a system that mostly benefits restaurant critics and a select few relatively impecunious friends of restauranteurs.
IN DEFENSE OF THE 5 O'CLOCK RESERVATION | MEGAN MCARDLE | OCTOBER 12, 2012 | THE DAILY BEAST

With him we have not anything to do, except to say that of all men he was the most impecunious.
AN OLD MAN'S LOVE | ANTHONY TROLLOPE

They seemed an impecunious assemblage, gathered for mere sport.
MYSTIC LONDON: | CHARLES MAURICE DAVIES

I'm the only niece of poor but impecunious relatives, and they expect me to do my best and marry well.
THE GENTLE ART OF COOKING WIVES | ELIZABETH STRONG WORTHINGTON

And as a single man he had succeeded, being sometimes utterly impecunious, but still with a capacity of living.
THE PRIME MINISTER | ANTHONY TROLLOPE

Now YOU come up with a sentence (or fic? or graphic?) that best illustrates the word.

Thank you to everyone who voted in the Long Challenge poll, especially those last minute peeps that I asked especially to help me break the tie!

We have five of our challenges clearly defined!

Here are the five top polled challenges! )

BUT... the problem is I have 2 challenge spaces left and SEVEN challenges that gained 4 votes each. *sigh*

So, rather than me just arbitrarily choosing two of the seven, I am going to give you another poll. If there is another tie, the first two I will look at dropping (from the tie if it happens that way) are Rare Pairs and 5+1, because we had both these challenges last year and it would be really nice to give a couple of the others a chance for a little change! If that doesn't help break any tie, I will be doing a random draw! ;-)

Anyway, vote for the TWO you would most like, and this poll is open to everyone who voted in the last one, and anyone else who wants to have a say... that is perfectly OK. To the polls once again! )

In the meantime, I can announce that [livejournal.com profile] skargasm has kindly offered to run our first long challenge for 2024, which will start on the 15th (next Monday). Drum roll please... and as long as I understand things, the challenge will be... CROSSOVERS! If I have got your choice wrong, Skargasm, please reply to my email and I will amend this post!

This poll will remain open until 6pm Saturday in my timezone (NZDST, which is 18 hours ahead of EST, so that means FRIDAY MIDNIGHT EST). Once I tot up the results, we will have our last two challenges sorted!

THANK YOU, EVERYONE!
