A new drabble exchange run on the new platform Imzy

The idea here is to run a low-pressure multifandom fanfic gift exchange on Imzy to see how well it works.

So drabbles!

100 words, no more, no less. We'll forgive variations in word counting software.

Nominations: Sunday, August 14 - Friday, August 19
Sign Ups: Sunday, August 21 - Wednesday, August 24
Assignments Out: Friday, August 26

Writing Time!: Saturday, August 27 - Sunday, September 4

Posting Begins: Monday, September 5

When you're signed in, there should be a nominate button.

If you need an imzy invite to the exchange comm, you should be able to request one from the comm page.

Oh, okay. Thanks for telling me about the button. I never did something like this or participated in something like this. So I didn't know something like this existed...

Do we have to use AO3 for Sign Ups, Assignments, Writing or Posting? If yes: Can you please add explanations how this works then with AO3?

AO3 is just for the nominations. All the rest will be run through Imzy.

Sorry, but it's basically an exchange designed to test running an exchange through Imzy, so it's mostly there. There aren't any rules though against crossposting to AO3 if you want.

Almost no one does. It's brand new. You request an invite, pick an anonymous type handle or one less anonymous if you want, and go for it.

The site's in beta, but it's working well enough for this I'm pretty sure.

Not to put the pressure on, sorry. Just it's interesting and exciting.


Forgot to say: the only sign up info it requests is email address and a handle, so there's that.

No. When you request through the comm, the mod gets back to you by sending you an invite. It's much faster than the general queue.

This looks amazing! I've never heard of Imzy before, but after taking a few minutes to look it over it seems pretty straightforward. It reminds me a little LiveJournal back in its early days.
