It's that time of the week again! How are you doing? I'm all the things busy, but I'm enjoying this month quite a bit. So it's good. Now if only my word count was good. *sigh* There are still a few days left to give it a push.

Bingo time is almost up! How are you doing with that? Is there help that you need to get that next square done? What can we do?

And today's pinterest discussion: What song is moving you right now?

I've been getting up early on the days that I get to go into work bit later and Meghan Trainor's Me too is the thing that has me walking around at 5:30 in the morning. And too, it's helping me plot things as I walk. :)

I have been so freaking busy this morning! And of course, that means my co-worker is yelling questions at me from the other room (one of my biggest pet peeves), the phone is ringing off the hook, and the men I work with are being so NEEDY. Ugh. Other than that... :D

Bingo is done and posted! :D

Say what you will about Meghan Trainor, but she has some great uptempo songs. I have a couple go-to songs that I like: Tyler Farr's "Better in Boots", Thomas Rhett's "Crash & Burn" and Andy Grammar's "Honey I'm Good" all get me moving. I have an all-uptempo playlist on Spotify for that reason.

Yes! I don't know if anyone else does this, but I have playlists I've built specifically for certain stories or even certain pairings. They help put me into the right mood and allow me to zone out a bit while I plot. The treadmill is the best place for me because I tend to walk into things when I'm plotting and walking. Hahaha... yeah.

The girl knows what she's talking about. :) I agree though - a song with a lively beat will pull you out of your funk. I love that song - I don't listen to much pop music, but I do love that one.

Same here. Any mindless activity works for me - walking, washing dishes, taking a shower... it all works. :)

I think the rate of inspiration is directly proportional to how unable you are to write any of it down. Hahahaha. :)

My daughter gave me this song: (she's a HUGE fan)...and I can't get it out of my head. The vid's pretty haunting too.

It's trying to find a way to push into my wip, but it hasn't quite succeeded yet...

And it's already Wednesday here and I'm over it already.

I don't seem to have any particular songs (not new ones anyway) on my radar at the moment, but an oldie I've heard a few times that is haunting me is 'How Much' by Ambrosia. It's not inspiring me to do anything except sing along badly, but that's something, right? ;-)

Need more words, of course, but busy times seem to mean I'm not getting as many out as I'd like, but I'm determined to get through the 100-in-100 since we are SO CLOSE now, so I'm managing a little every day!

OMG, that reminds me I haven't sent the H50 AU to beta...

I'm pretty much living on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Coming Out of Their Shells soundtrack. It's about the only music I can handle listening to these days without getting upset.
