Good morning!  Or evening, or whatever wherever you are!

The internet and my laptop are not on speaking terms yet again.  This means that big buddy will have to wait until I get to work, and that this is coming to you from my phone (a lovely place where LJ & spellcheck don't talk to each other).  Yay!

I play a lot on pinterest.  I pin a lot of motivational stuff and prompts and houseplans, oddly enough.  And I thought I'd start bringing you some motivational/discussion starting pins.

For today:

Tell me something good.. Something good about your upcoming day/week/month/year.  Tell me something planned that you are looking forward to.  Write a comment, link a blog post, make a graphic that displays you enthusiasm.  Consider it an assingment/ challenge or give me a simple sentence.  Tell me something good.

Um, I'm really excited for my University Equestrian Club's awards evening. I'm usually the sort of person that gets ignored with awards and accolades as i'm really shy but this time I have been told I won one award and have been nominated for another. They are meaningless things, cant put them on my CV or anything, but it really means a lot that people have thought of me.

It's also beautiful weather here so everything seems better! And my foot is recovering after my toe op. Things are on the up :)

My play series has started and that means that once a month for the next three months, I will be seeing a play at our local regional theater. Yesterday I saw Steel Magnolias with Susan Sullivan and Jessica Walters--it was fabulous :)

My 14-year-old (third?)cousin is coming for a long weekend, over Father's Day -- she loves Star Wars and will be here just in time to see the new Star Wars fireworks at Disney.

I just hope the weather holds out, now that we're in the midst of hurricane season!

I know where the money for this month's car payment and electric bill are coming from. But no idea when I'll get some decent writing time. 56 hours this week and scheduled for 48 next week. So good and bad, but I'm focusing on the good!

Also good, looking forward to seeing the new TMNT movie soon!

BTW, I like this idea and would love to see it happen every week. Everybody can use some good news, and it's a way for us all to get know each other better! :)

Am in the final stages of leaving a bad part of my life behind me finally. Five years and counting and IT'S DONE. Nothing left but a little paperwork.

Also, we're all happy and healthy and the cat's annoying, so life is moving according to schedule. ;)

Well, my something good is about holidays (or vacations as you may call them!). We are going to Paihia for a couple of nights in July with N1D and LF, which will be lovely! (N2D is on camp so unfortunately has to miss this one - it was too complicated to arrange things differently). Paihia is in New Zealand's winterless north, so here's hoping the weather will be sunny and calm!

Secondly, and even more importantly, HAWAII!!!! How many days? :D
