Monday again.

The dog is out, fed, back in. The cat is fed and watered. The coffee is poured. I have 380 411 comments in my inbox to go through. It's Monday.

While the glow of 15 million words, and OMG WE MADE IT, is starting to wear off; and the pressure of OMG we have to do it again is starting to build with the what the hell am I going to do for rare pair; I'm still getting a contact high from the WE MADE 4 MILLION WORDS LAST MONTH! It's still so very awesome!

My house is clean, my heat is working, and my car is working (Knock on wood). Those have been the personal hurdles that I've been dealing with for the last three weeks, and it's beautiful to have them behind me now and move forward to the awesomeness that will be the rest of the year!

The Weekend challenge seems to have done exceptionally well. We had successful word wars as well. The Birthday Challenge went up, as did the 2015 Brag Book. And haldoor explained a bit about what we're up to this year as well as posting a Friending Meme. It's been busy.

I want to take a minute to thank everyone for their patience with getting the year set up. For those of you who have been with us from the start I know it seems like we're always behind setting up the year, and that's because we are. ;) We try to get a start on it, get organized, ask for volunteers, and then we hit the 'down to the wire' part of our year end and all the energy goes there. Then, suddenly, it's the new year, we're exhausted and not ready. So stick with us a bit longer, we should have most everything in place by the end of this week.

My plans for the week are to set up most of my comm posts for the week today, hire a new office assistant at work, and find a rare pair to write! It will all be awesome! What are you all up to?

I'm so glad things are looking up, babe! Good luck with getting a new assistant who can, you know, actually do the job!!! (and I'm still giggling about your fic. SO DAMNED GOOD!)

I have managed some good words over the last couple of nights for Rare Pairs, and I really hope to get that WIP finished for this month - it's at 8K, so here's hoping I'll get it done in about 12K or less!

The rest of this week has me looking at baking cookies for a post-wedding BBQ on Sunday, and then making sure I have a Weekend Challenge lined up for this weekend, as we travel south for a family wedding on Sat. morning and won't be back till Sun. night.
