RARE PAIR CHALLENGE!!!

So I'm late, but... IT'S RARE PAIR MONTH!!!

*dance of joy* *dance of joy* *dance of joy*

I do love the idea of rare pairs. It's one of my fav things! The problem I find is that some pairs occur to be by the way the writers write them in canon or the way they snark. But a lot of others just don't occur to me. I'm just conditioned that when I think Inception I think Arthur/Eames and Yusuf/Mal never crosses my mind. It happens with every fandom I play in. I just can't see beyond my nose until someone adjusts my glasses.

So let's chat for a bit about fandoms and rare pairs. Leave a suggestion of a rare pair from a fandom or seven, leave a suggestion of a scenario, leave a prompt, leave an image.

Also - This year let's not define rare pairs as what is rare to fandom, but what is rare for you. If you've always shipped Stiles/Allison take a stab at something different for you!

The challenges can be met with written words (min of 1,000) or graphic words (min 5 icons). OR in the spirit of rare pairs, you could work together with someone you've never worked with and give us something twice as nice!

It's one of my favorite things I've written, although it was rough keeping the internal fanfic separate from the actual fanfic, if that makes any sense.

Hahaha... I bet it's rampant in these kinds of fandoms. And I can totally see Kono being the one who wrote it all, too. Or Steve doing it behind Danny's back so he can torment Danny without Danny knowing it was him. Hah.

Yes - SPN's meta episodes are the best. "What's a slash fan?" and "Dude, they do know we're brothers, right?" will forever be burned into my brain. I read somewhere that SPN doesn't just break the fourth wall, they tear it down.

She'd have to be. Hiding it all behind that perfectly neutral face. :D
