How has January been for you?  Let me just say that if this last week is any indication of how my year is going to go?  I wanna skip right on forward to 2026.  Yeesh.  But, hopefully things are better wherever you are.

Reminders:

1. Flash Challenge!  Your flash challenge prompt is: emergency.  Give me 100 words or a graphic and I’ll reward you with my undying love and admiration.

2. Last week’s challenges:

Word of the day
Weekend Challenge
Thursday Tropes
A to Z
Numbers

And there are more, just check the tags!

3. Big Buddy is at 42%.  Are you on track?  Do you have your towel?  Do you think I’m a dork for that last one?

4. The Daily Count challenge is still going on.  You can find the list for the month here.

5. Okay, I’ve already mentioned that it’s been a crazy week for me, so the fact I can’t remember if we currently have a long challenge going or not isn’t a shock.  Feel free to point out if we are!

I think that’s about it.  I need to go check on my kitty and then get back at it.  Last year was a hot mess as far as my writing went.  Need to turn that around today.  Let us know how you’re doing and if you need any help.  We’re here for you!  Now, go forth and be productive in whatever manner it manifests.

Here's the rules:
1) 100 words or 1 graphic for each letter of the alphabet.

It's that easy.
And perk of the alphabet you know what's coming if you want to get ahead of it. There is no need for your work to all connect. There is no need for them to be in order.

Like the Numbers challenge, if you are stuck or would like a random word to use, poke me and I will provide.

Now everyone give me an

Gale Warning (noun)
gale warning

noun
1. U.S. Meteorology. a National Weather Service warning of sustained winds at sea having speeds in the range 34–47 knots (39–54 miles per hour, 17–24 meters per second).

Origin: First recorded in 1915–20

Now YOU come up with a sentence (or fic? or graphic?) that best illustrates the word.

The new semester started today. That being said, I managed to get about 800 words written today! I'm pleased with that.

Passing to [livejournal.com profile] backrose_17. Good luck!
