Happy Monday!  How was your weekend?  Hopefully drier than mine has been.  Getting an entire year’s worth of rain over 24-48 hours has been quite an experience for me.  Have to admit that I’m in shock that we’re already in the last week of August.  How’d we get here?  And how are my kittens almost 3 months old?

So I put my goal for the month at 2,000 words and today I did 800 words!

Thankfully the rest of this week there will be more writing as I have weekly "research papers" for one of my classes. From the outline for the paper that's due next Sunday, it's looking that each week I'll be writing somewhere around 500-800 words. I think I will meet and exceed my goal for the month.
