I did mean to get these up weekly, but I'm a little late so let's call it semi-weekly and see how it goes from here!

How are you doing with words on your WIP? I've only managed 500 or so on mine, it has to be said, but I should have more time this weekend, now the reno has started properly and I'm no longer shifting and tidying to make way for building work!

Need some inspiration? How about a few prompts:

- That's my lucky number!
- I wish I'd thought of that
- Seventeen is far too young
- Ditzy
- Tuesdays are always like this

Use any or all of them as you see fit! If they inspire you to add more words or help you out of a corner, then it's all good! My work here is done.

Need someone to chat to about a sticking point in your fic, or to give you perspective or advice on something? Write a comment here and maybe one of our members can help!

Are you going to need a beta-reader to help soon? Anyone can comment here to offer their services for beta work (and what you can provide as a beta), or you can reach out to ask for someone to do beta work for you (let them know what help you'll need or that you expect). You may find a match!

I am also always available for beta work as long as it isn't a really long one (I can do these, but might struggle finding time to do it, just so you know). I'd estimate I can manage to help with up to 10,000 word fics at the moment. I am good with grammar, punctuation, spelling, and can check for flow; I also have some ability in Brit-picking, and my Antipodean-picking is excellent as I am a Kiwi! ;-) I should list my fandoms too, I suppose, but ask me and I'll tell you if I can help with canon/characters in the one you're writing in, if needed.
