sorry, everyone! i haven't been on my computer all week and thought I was taking over rare pairs on some day with a five, don't ask me why i thought that, but there we go.  we've had a lady out at work in our three person department so it's been kind of crazy which hasn't helped either.  give me a little bit and I'll get some prompts up for the past week :D

i know some people voted for quotes and others for just pairing suggestions, so i'll see what i may do a mix of both 

Rare Pairs Challenge: Day 15-16

Since I failed spectacularly this week, we're doubling up on prompts:

Day 15
Teen Wolf - So I ship Stiles with just about anyone, but that's me.  Below are some suggestions for pairings I don't see enough of.  And since poor Derek needs some love too, I've tossed a couple for him in there.  And of course Queen Lydia needs somebody that can keep up with her.  These are just some suggestions to get you started,

Pairs - Stiles/Jackson, Stiles/Danny, Stiles/Jordan, Stiles/Cora, Stiles/Erica, Derek/Jackson, Derek/Chris, Derek/Sheriff, Lydia/Derek, Lydia/Peter, Lydia/Cora

Moresomes - Pick your favorite pair and toss some unwitting friend(s) or stranger(s) to their tender (or not so tender) mercies

Crossovers - how about characters from Harry Potter, Marvel/DC, NCIS, Hawaii 5-0, or (insert your fave fandom here).  Bill from HP is one I haven't seen used a lot, he's been attacked by a werewolf and is now bearing scars from it, how would he react to one of the wolves?  Or maybe Braedon who has her own scars? LMAO and now I'm picturing the horrified look on Jackson's face after running into Fred and George.  Bucky and Clint have both been brainwashed and used to do horrible things, how would Jackson or Stiles relate to them after going through the same kind of thing?  Maybe Stiles skips the FBI and joins a different branch of law enforcement? Or maybe Sheriff opts to get transferred out to Hawaii and meets the odd couple that is Steve and Danno?

Day 16
So, I'll try a quote this time from Labyrinth since I have a few of those in permanent memory at this point lol.  Use the quote itself or use the idea behind it as a prompt.

"What kind of rubbish is that? It doesn't even start with 'I wish'." *tsk* "All she has to say is 'I wish the goblin king would come and take you away right now!  That's not hard is it?!"

Are your characters the ones urging on the wishing away (maybe they have a quota to meet), or the one doing the wishing? Is the person being wished away going to be rescued by their true love or maybe the goblin king/queen is a much better romantic partner? Of course it doens't have to be goblins either, fairies would be a great substitution or any other mischievous spirit, perhaps from a non-european based religion? 

Rare Pairs Challenge: Day 17-18

Day 17
A quote again, this time from I think one of the first Anita Blake books (and sort of paraphrased):

"There are no good or bad truths.  Truth just is.  Some truths just hurt more than others."

What truth is being revealed? Is someone cheating on your character and the person that's been secretly pining for them has to decide whether to tell them? Is character A secretly from the rival faction to character B?  Was a truth revealed and now Character A and character B are facing it head on together?

Day 18
Harry Potter - so I ship Harry with pretty much any of the guys, but below are a couple pairings I'd personally like to see more of.  I dont' read a lot of het or femslash, so I'm not sure how common some of the other pairings are, but I dont' see them much regardless

Pairings - Harry/Bill, Harry/Charlie, Harry/Barty Jr., Harry/Neville, Harry/Luna, Hermione/Bill, Hermione/Charlie, Draco/Luna, Draco/Charlie, Hermione/Fleur, Ginny/Luna, Hermione/Ginny

Moresomes - Harry/Fred/George, Harry/Bill/Charlie, Hermione/Bill/Charlie, Hermione/Fred/George, Draco/Fred/George (sense a theme? lmao)

Crossovers - Merlin, James Bond, Dr. Who/Torchwood, Teen Wolf, Marvel/DC, Sherlock, or (insert your favorite fandom here).  LMAO yeah, i'm totaly picturing Cpt Jack working his way throught he Weasley family.  Maybe Harry has a distant relative that's a superhero or superhero adjacent and gets to meet the rest of team? Or maybe it's Hermione with the super connections.  Maybe The Golden Trio grow up and decide they've had enough of magical Britain and decide to make a go of it as muggles and get dragged into Q or Bond's attention?  Maybe Merlin, Arthur, or one (or several) of the knights gets sent through time?  Maybe Snape is a distant relation to the Holmes brothers (he is a genius in potions after all)? What kind of chaos would that create when Sherlock meets a wizard/witch that fascinates him?

Every Saturday night I will put up a reminder post for the next week. If someone forgets to post that they've done their writing for the day, the next person will know it's their turn and can post after they've done their writing.

For example, it's 05 August and Dreamy hasn't made a post saying that they've done their daily writing, on 06 August, candream can post when they've done their writing to keep things moving on.

I think I've covered everything, but if not, please let me know.

Daily Count Challenge

So I'm not sure who is next, sorry about that. I managed to write 5k today part of which went to a prompt on my bad things happen bingo which yay! The rest went to a story for the rare pairing challenge but it looks like it is going to have to be broken up into chapters. Jason Todd was supposed to just have a fling with Buck (9-1-1) to make Eddie jealous and it ran a little long so I am spltting that story into chapters but yay for jealous Eddie, my weakness in Buddie stories.
