Got to enjoy one of my favorite hockey-related things tonight- the NHL Draft Lottery- some years it can be oddly compelling, this year, it was not. But it's fun and gets me in the mood for next month's draft.

That aside, I started a couple of different pieces and wound up with around 750 words for the day. I hope to get a lot more writing done over the weekend during a couple long train rides.
