2. Biochemistry. a region of DNA in which the sequence of nucleotides is identical with an inverted sequence in the complementary strand: GAATTC is a palindrome of CTTAAG.

Origin: 1620–30; < Greek palíndromos recurring, equivalent to pálin again, back + -dromos running (see -drome)

July stuff

I haven't had a chance to get online much the last week or so. Good news is that I got a job at Kohl's! Bad news is, I don't get online a lot right now.

I did manage to make my count for July. I'm pretty sure I pledged 5000 and I wrote 6594, 3567 of which I posted. The other 3000ish are for my pool party fic, which I did not get done. Oh well. Hopefully in August. That's still pool weather here. :)

I totally meant to have this up this morning, but I forgot! Sometime last week I saw this meme on my LJ and thought it would be fun to do here, so I contacted haldoor, told her about it and after she and kaige68 discussed it, I was given the go ahead to do it for the weekend challenge.

The Lowdown:
Here's how it works. You comment here with a letter. I respond with five words that begin with that letter. You write a drabble or create graphics using those words. It can be any fandom or original. It can be anything you want it to be.

Simple enough, right?

And it can be any rating from G all the way to NC-17

The Breakdown:
Drabble = 100 words exactly (okay +/- 1 or 2 words is okay)
Double Drabble = 200 words
Triple Drabble = 300 words
Ficlet = 350-500 words
Fic = 500+
or you know, there abouts

1 banner/wallpaper per word
