#TuesdayTip, or, Today I Learned!

Hi group, my drabble has been sent off. Thanks so much for your suggestions and help!

I was super puzzled though as I was getting different word counts. The word limit is exactly 100 words and the submission guidelines said they use Google Docs for the word count. I pasted my drabble in different programs and I was always a few words short or had a few too many.

This article explains the why:

After some dickering around, I discovered the em dashes and ellipses in my story were creating the problem, so I replaced them and everything adds up across the programs. Whew!!
