Hello, and welcome to another Wonderful, Awesome Monday! I'm filling in for Haldoor today - and whether you worked it or had some time to yourself, I do hope the weekend treated you well.

I can't complain: I got some rest, ran a few miles, did some cooking. I also made time to enjoy the latest SPN and a couple of episodes of Fringe for my annual winter re-watch. I always look forward to visiting with that crazy little family over the winter - watching them drop acid, fight the bad guys, and take on the worlds together warms a cold season for me.

I didn't write, but I did make some bingo cards - it was fun to open up Photoshop and play with colors a bit. This week, I'm going to finish a ficlet that's about half written, and start on some bingo prompts. :) The weekend challenge also popped a bunny I hope to make something of, too. That's probably about it on the creative side for me.

What's on your list? Need a prompt? Today, apparently, is one of the biggest 'call out sick' days of the year (or so 'they' say) - and it's being dubbed "SuperSick Monday." Ha. I don't watch football, but if you do perhaps you know a person or two who indulged in the old "I can't make it in today"??? Imagine, as they say, your OTP. :)

The Super Bowl was lame. The Rams finally showed up at the tail end of the third quarter and just couldn't get it done.

I'm doing good words wise. Sitting over 1k at the moment. Have the day off, so hopefully that number will rise.

I did get some awesome news yesterday. I'm going to be a great aunt again come August!

I saw the final score while blipping around the web last night - one of the lowest scores ever, wow! Yeah, it's like a pitchers' duel, I guess - lots of fanning, not much excitement. Boo.

Congrats on the words - and big congrats on the news! That's awesome. :} Love being an aunt - baby time, but then you get to give them back. ;}

Reminds me of one of Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth novels. Richard and Cara are having this conversation and he keeps saying, "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH IT!" You don't even find out what she touched until the next book. :D

But yeah... Zayne cannot keep his hands to himself. :)

I'm attempting to combine one 4sqre bingo card with Sunday's prompt...but my dog keeps insisting on being in my lap ;) But I've gotten 500 words thus far, so thats more than I've done in a few days.

Do making bingo cards count as graphics?

Otherwise I've done very little to start off February. My excuse was setting up the new computer system...which is 95% raring to go. I'll be able to write on it now though; the rest is fluffing.

On the downside...my daughter woke me up at 2 to tell me its raining in the kitchen. Already have a roofer due out to take a look because I was guessing what I was seeing in the kitchen was either from leakage or from the way my house is settling. Still...now I've been up since 2, the dog needs a checkup to verify he's healing right after his surgery...and its a work day. So... happy Monday to me :/

Back to words...what I can make of them in the next hour.

Ugh. That is *not* a good Monday, sorry you woke up to that. I've had it rain in my bathroom twice when shower pipes burst in the apartments above me. :{ At least I didn't have to deal with the repairs myself - I feel for you there, hope it's resolved soon. Fingers crossed for your pupper, too.

Yes, the bingo cards are getting counted! So say I. Lol. Although, I'll probably just count them as four, and not a literal count of each card. Feels about fair to me.

I actually have today off. I'm not indulging in SuperSick Monday (although, being from St Louis, the two teams in the Super Bowl did make me ill), but I'm currently on the last day of vacation out of town. I have gotten out and done some touristy things here in Springfield, Illinois, but for the most part, it's just been a weekend of indulging in things- reading, fanfic writing, watching movies- that I start to feel guilty if I spend too much time on them at home. I'm about a third of the way toward my writing goal for the month, so I'm pleased with that, and I haven't even touched the Bingo prompts yet, so there's more progress to be made.

That sounds pretty awesome to me! I know I find it hard to fully indulge at home - getting away from all the reminders of the 'to do' list is definitely a nice treat. :) Enjoy.

I finished a book this weekend. :D Got some writing done and spent most of my free time chasing the kitten out of my herbs. She discovered she can get to the Aerogarden now and likes to spend her time sniffing the basil and playing with the thyme. *sigh*

Happy to hear you had such a laid back weekend! Those are really the best kind. I've only seen a handful of episodes of Fringe, but it's one I need to go and watch from the beginning, I think.

As for this week, I hope to finish another book or two and work on my bingo.

Sounds like a good plan to me! I'm hopeful for words, as my knitting interest feels like it's taking a slight dip for the moment - which is not a bad thing, actually. Balance. Hard to find balance, lol.

Oh, the kitten must love that- their little noses are so much stronger than ours, it must smell irresistible. :}

I keep thinking I want to learn how to knit, but I'm not willing to give up any of my other hobbies yet. :D Yeah, balance is an illusive thing. I go through periods where all I do is write and get no reading done and vice versa. I can't seem to balance words and pages.

Hahaha... I caught her with her face shoved into the basil, nothing but her ears sticking out. Guess it's time to trim the plants? I do know that my hamsters LOVED basil. They'd chow hard on the leaves. :)

Ha. That's cute. There's something about animals enjoying their food that makes me ridiculously happy. Of course, when they're enjoying *our* food it gets a little trickier. :)

The best part of the Super Bowl was the new Avengers promo. And that was like the first commercial break!

I had a couple fics due for exchanges the past few days, so I got those done, and I've even started on a bingo card. Every time we have bingo, I start a fic and never finish, so I'm hoping to change that pattern this time!

I didn't even realise it WAS Superbowl, since it obviously isn't a thing here. In fact when I read your post, I was wondering what happened yesterday to make it be such a big sick day! But now I'm caught up on comments, although I still know nothing about Superbowl! ;-P

And it's already Wednesday for me, which shows how well I would have done trying to post this on Monday. Thank you for taking it on!

I hadn't even thought about counting the Bingo cards, but it does make sense - I spent quite a lot of time on mine, so I'm going to count them too!

I haven't grabbed a Bingo card at this point, but I'm plodding on with my WIP, which is going really well - I finally feel like I know what's supposed to be happening (10k in!!!) so I feel like it may actually get finished soon. I suppose I could grab a bingo card and try to include the prompts in it, but I'm not sure how easily that will work.
