Plashy (adjective)

1. marshy; wet.
2. splashing.

HOW TO USE PLASHY IN A SENTENCE

Now YOU come up with a sentence (or fic? or graphic?) that best illustrates the word.

Drabble/Icon Challenge .:. Day 25!

icondrabble2021

Every day you will see a post with 4 prompts like so: 1. a place, 2. a color, 3. an action and 4. a random word.

All you have to do is create an icon or a drabble (or more) for that day using at least one (or more) of the prompts.

There are no other rules! Any fandom/s (or none); any character/s; a one-off each day or a continuous story for several days; post it one day at a time, post 7 creations altogether once a week, or just post in one lump at the end! It's all up to you. Take the prompts and run with them; no interpretation is wrong!

Day 25
1. a place: Swimming Pool
2. a color: Honey-Dew
3. an action: Climb
4. a random word: Blizzard

Feel free to leave suggestions on this post. All comments are screened.

Good luck and have fun!

Daily challenge to agdhani!

Finally a successful challenge day! I managed to write a bit more than 2,000 words on a fic that should have been done two weeks ago but better late than never, right?, which is the most I've written in a while.

And now, to pass the writing torch on to [livejournal.com profile] agdhani! Good luck to you, and I hope you make all the words!

Daily Count Challenge - July!

July! It's our month!!! Let's get it done!

Comment here and we'll put you on the list! It's as simple as stepping up when your name is called and doing your utmost to meet your own daily word count (whatever that may be). When you finish, write a small bragging post and call up the next contestant!

Be accountable for one day!

Weekend Challenge is... Touching!

This week's prompt is... touching! I have fifty different ways for your characters to physically touch - just shoot me a number :)

(Fill the prompt by next Thursday, and I will write you a ficlet!)

Big Buddy July!

Comment here with the count you can reach in the month (remember to factor in holidays, finals, road trips, pajama days, hangovers, etc). I will check in with you once a week to make sure you are on schedule, to push you if you aren't, and to shake pompoms at you if you are (Well, I'll probably shake pompoms at you either way).

Your count is up to you. There is no minimum beyond what you decide. But Big Buddy will be watching you! If you pledge 100 words/images, then every Monday chime in to tell us that you are up to snuff.

This is not words to be done in lieu of something else. If you have a bingo, or a big bang, or a drabble-a-day, it all counts! Words/images do not have to be posted to count, they just have to be done!

Who's in?

mostly a fail

Between work and sinus headache that will not leave, I've not made any words today...though I did spend lunch break sorting through upcoming plot ideas and studying my world map for ideas...
Not sure that counts.
Anyhow [livejournal.com profile] shanachie_quill is up for Saturday...hopefully I'll be right behind you doing something productive.
