Fandom Squee Day 15 - Marvel Netflix shows
Sorry for all the disruption this weekend. I had a crazy few days and this completely slipped my mind. But here we are Day 15, the halfway point!
Marvel Netflix Shows

Now let's begin with the one that started it all: DAREDEVIL!

So what do you guys think? Which is your favourite?
Marvel Netflix Shows

Now let's begin with the one that started it all: DAREDEVIL!

Now you are all going to regret getting me started on this show. I love it, I love it on so many different levels. To begin with, Charlie Cox. Stardust is my favourite film of all time and imagine how excited I was to learn that the adorable little Tristain Thorn was going to kick ass as Matt Murdock *squeals* Even when he is all battered and bruised and sulky.

I even liked Elecktra although I think she deserved better then the whole ending (I won't ruin it for people) and the Punisher was so beautifully done and he definately needs a spin off.

And then there was Jessica Jones :)

Now this is the sort of female protagonist I want to see. She's been through hard times and come through it with a no fuss attitude and full of wise cracks. But she isn't perfect, she's still fighting her demons and it's refreshing to actually see that. Kilgrave is such a phenomenal villain; he is truly psycotic with his desire to just have a life with the woman he loves no matter what he has to do to get there. I love David Tennant as an actor and he truly mastered this role.

It also served as the introduction of LUKE CAGE!

I love Luke Cage and the whole ideas behind the series. It took a very topical turn but it dealt with the racial issues very well. I'm a little sad that Jess didn't make an appearance but I knew she wouldn't really. Although I am loving the tying of them all together with Claire Temple. She is such a fab character with how resigned to superhumans she is now. Almost fed up with it all

So what do you guys think? Which is your favourite?

Damn I love Charlie's portrayal of Murdock...I won't tell you how many times I've watched it...bought the dvds...finished screen capping S1...
Desk full of Daredevil figures...ringtone and backdrop/lock screen on my phone...
I'm slightly obsessed.
And Jon's Punisher...he totally nailed that. Being a Karen/Frank shipper, I was super excited to see set photos the other day with both of them...must be for the Punisher series coming up.
And I have enjoyed Jessica Jones and Luke Cage...and love all the supporting characters...but my waiting for Defenders is largely for Matt Murdock
lets hope these work

I'm still plugging away through Luke Cage, which honestly I've liked the least of these shows. I loved him in Jessica Jones but there's something...not quite compelling enough about him as a main character. He's sort of...blank. I'm not sure. I've been trying to figure out why it's not drawing me as much as the other shows. I think the storytelling isn't as good. I finish each episode not really feeing like I care that much about continuing. :( I absolutely adore Misty Knight. She should have her own spinoff.
I'm really interested to see where they go with this universe and how the Defenders, the Punisher and Iron Fist will turn out. I love the way characters pop up in each one, like Claire and apparently (mind blank), the lawyer from Jessica Jones will be in Iron Fist??

I really wanna see who they bring in as the villian in JJ S2, it has been rumored to be Fisk as he is in it apparently but i hope not.
I see what you mean about Luke though. I do think the ensemble cast saved that series with Claire and Misty!
Yeah the tie in should be really good as they have had time to build the characters on their own (*cough* not like the MCU *cough*) and so their shouldn't be too much fighting for screen time!
