Danny sat on the sandy shore, feeling the cool grains beneath him as he gazed out at the ocean. The sky was a canvas of orange and pink hues as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the water. His body felt weary from the latest Five-0 case, every muscle aching and reminding him of the toll his job took on him. It was a stark reminder that he wasn't as young as he used to be. Yet, it wasn't just physical exhaustion that burdened him; his mind felt heavy and tired, too.

A familiar voice interrupted his moment of quiet reflection. "Danno, you okay?" Steve's voice was laced with genuine concern, cutting through the tranquil atmosphere.

Danny turned to his friend, offering a reassuring smile. "Yeah, I just need a minute."

Jean had just finished unpacking his suitcase when Jeremy entered the room and handed him a bag. “What's this?” Jean asked.

“Probably a mistake,” Jeremy admitted. “When you were visiting Kevin and Neil, the girls and I went to the mall, had one too many drinks, and found ourselves in one of those places where you... well, you'll see.”

“There's a note here that says, 'I was made for you.'”

“It's something the store puts in with all of their items.”

Jean opened up the bag and reached a hand inside. “It's soft.”

He pulled out a plush stuffed animal. It was a black cat with green eyes that wore a crimson USC jersey.

“We were just going to stop at the cat, but then Laila found the jersey so, of course, we had to add that as well.”

“You made this for me.”

“Do you like it?”

“I probably should not, but I do,” Jean said.

“I won't ask you to name it yet.”

“I will call it 'Sunshine.'”

Jeremy laughed. “That sounds perfect.”

“The dog will have to leave though.”

“I think they can get along.”

“Perhaps. Thank you for making this. It's good to be back home.”
