Advent, Day 21: Star Trek Discovery

And here's my added bonus for today!

I'll admit to being rather come-and-go over the many different Star Trek series and characters, but what I like about Discovery is that my Hubby and I seem to both enjoy it, which doesn't often happen for us with SF shows. I am a big SF fan, and he is usually more down to earth, but this one? Somehow we're both there, and that's really fun!

So I grabbed a few pics and quickly made just a few icons for this one as I was running out of day, and needed to get these up before bed tonight.

Good! I know purists don't seem to enjoy it much generally, but I'm no purist! I enjoy the characters and the situations they've been in so far. We shall see how it continues!

at first it felt too focused on Michael...came of as 'her' story rather than the ship/crew/federation...but they've finally started fleshing out the others in the crew, making them integral parts, so I'm happier with that now. given that it's only been half a season, I think it just has to grow into itself.
