Fandom Squee Day 2: X-Men

Hey, everyone! Welcome to Fandom Squee Day 2! I am your co-host for the month, along with [livejournal.com profile] guineamania. Today's squee is:

X-MEN

Sooo, I haven't actually seen any of these movies (even though they are on my list to watch eventually!), so I'm afraid I can't actually squee over them, but I do have some gifs of encouragement and I hope those of you who are fans will share your excitement in the comments.

Remember, the challenge is to spend the month raving about the fandoms you love and try to create something for each day. There will be a reward for anyone that participates on any day and a special reward for people who create something for each day!

Now, some gifs:

Happy Creating!

X-Men will always be my #1 fandom love. I started with the cartoons and graduated to the comics. They've been a very active part of my life since the early '90s when the first cartoon to hit the air waves began. However, being a comic lover, I'm not that big on the movies but will forego getting into a tirade here about the many things the movies messed up. But the X-Men comics will always be my #1 fandom love, no matter what the movies do. <3

Movies are never the best for comics (apart from Deadpool, that was greater than my wildest dreams!) because there is so much source material to draw from and so many timeline changes that they always come up short (don't get me started on Apocalypse). But yet I still find myself enjoying them :)
