As I have 3 different series, outlining has grown into a must for me in order to keep the threads on track and keep continuity going. I didn't used to outline at all.
My outlines are pretty rough...vague plot points that I need to cover to get from one place to another...that get added to, subtracted from, and shuffled around as the writing progresses. Maybe that's not really 'outlining'...but I don't have a better name for it.
I might need to utilize the conference room table to spread out my notecards this time...it might make it easier to shuffle them around.
I've a few new characters to add this time...I'm not going to flesh them out fully but give them names, relationships, and a few necessary key traits...and see where that leads me.
