Name: Drivven is fine by me LJ age: 8 years last November What is your Creativity Goal this year: Finish up my WIPs and find new fandoms to write in What is your goal this year beyond that: Get my migraines even more under control. Re-connect with my son. Visit my family in other states again soon. South Dakota, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas. Travel to Ireland and Japan at some point before I die. Finish at least one of the originals I’ve been working on half my life that would be approximately 3 novels each. Where in the world are you: Missouri, US Current Fandom(s): Mostly Naruto, but I’ve dabbled in a few others Earlier/old Fandom(s): Naruto, Vampire Knight, Star Trek, Buffy, Teen Wolf Do you Original fic? Read and Write, but have never posted any original of mine Favorite comm(s): I’ve been MIA from LJ for a couple years now due to health and personal issues, so OMW is all I’m active in at the moment. I was active in NarutoYaoi before that. Gen, Het, or Slash: M Slash/Yaoi and some Gen Languages you write in: Sadly, I’m not even bilingual. I did have one story translated to Russian which was pretty cool. Was funny, they had trouble translated ‘he slid into a boneless heap on the floor’. It was the lack of bones when obviously that wasn’t physically possible that threw the fan who was translating it. English is a funny language if you think about it. Favourite 'go to' movie(s) and why: Serenity, The Croods, Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, stuff like that; because they make me laugh. Favourite movie/TV show genre(s): Comedy, SciFi, Fantasy, Crime Drama, World History/Culture documentaries, What inspires you? It could be anything: a song, a phrase, an image, an odd thought, etc. I’m pretty random. What type of creative project(s) do you find you can do easily: Crafting, some wood working, re-purposing things, etc. What type of creative project(s) would you like to get better at: I used to be able to draw and paint, but I got away from that and it’s a skill I’ve lost. I miss it. Coffee, Pepsi, tea, Coke, water, juice, vodka: Due to my migraines, I can’t have anything but water and juice. Sugar has always made me very ‘up’, so juice has become a writing drink for me. Tell us about your Pet(s): I had the most awesome, sweet, majestic boxer ever. I really do mean ever. He passed away 2 years ago last June. He was 14 years old. That’s old for a big dog. He was my best friend, my baby, king of the house; we worshiped him and he was the perfect dog. I miss him like it was just the day he left me. It’s like a hole in my chest that never fills in. I was blessed to have him and could only try to be worthy of his love. (Sorry for the sadness, but it’s the truth.) I am not ready for another pet. I’ve gotten pets too soon after a special one was lost and it never went well for me or the pet. I always ended up finding them a home where they would be better loved. No matter how special those lost pets were, none meant to me what my baby-dog did. Fairyniamh can back me up on this. Do your friends/family encourage you to create? Fairyniamh is the only person who has ever encouraged me to write. My husband encourages me to do wood working though. Name a song that always makes you cry like a baby: If You Get There Before I Do – It makes me think of the kind of love my grandparents had and I always cry when I think of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9Zbp5Ml4kU How's your memory: When it comes to work, like a steel trap. When it comes to personal, what was I talking about? Walk, jog, bicycle, car: Depends on the weather, which in Missouri means – car. It’s either disgustingly humid or like today 13 degrees with a 10 degree wind chill. I don't think that word means what you think it means: Hmm, I don’t have a lot of trouble with words, but I am the comma splice queen…. And lastly, anything else you want to say, or finish with a gif that sums you up: Wrangling Muses is like trying to herd cats.
