This week's challenge: Seeing their world through new eyes...

Write us a fic in which your character(s) wake on a Sunday feeling like everything looks new again. Maybe they got a second chance with someone or something? Maybe they've finally let go of a hope or expectation that was only holding them down.

Maybe they're alone but looking forward to changing that. Or maybe they're waking up next to the person who has a big part in this fresh start.

Whatever the reason, tell us how the world looks now to your fictional darling(s).
